Let the Games Begin

Not too sure what "Games" i'm referring to, but i'm gonna run with it. I'm sure there will be some type of shenanigans which come into play. Wow. I just nearly spelt shenanigans - shenanigigans.

So it's been an interesting weekend I guess, very much so the last 6-7 hours though.

Let's start at the beginning though.. Not right at the beginning because that would be a massive intro and I don't really have time to play catch ups for those of you not paying attention. For the sake of this blog, let's just say that I was born, then all of a sudden it was May 14th, 2010.

I had taken the day off from work, had plenty of visitors come over and try to fix our *expletive* internet.

(I'm not certain if this is a medium level coarse language type of blog as yet. I'm not going to start on the first post anyways. Ah Fuck! Well, it's too late now.)

Anyway, fast forward all the slightly boring bits, slept in til 11am, watched TV, failed miserably at fixing the internet, Lachlan came over and fixed it, then Rob, the scab, asks me to pick him up from work. I did it only because I am truly in love with him and that's the only reason. (If you haven't picked it up by now, i'm heavily into sarcasm.) But seriously, Rob and I are like.. together. So I picked him up, came home, the Dungeon Dwellers came home from work, consumed a minute drop of alcohol, then went out to Nitro Circus... at Acer Arena!!! For those of you who don't know what Nitro Circus is, as I explained to my parents when I went to pick up my little sister, it's pretty much heaps of clowns piling out of a tiny car while stuff around it exploded. And I'm pretty sure they believed it. At least I think my dad accepted it as confused truth, because he just answered with an agreeable, but curious "Oh.." and then never brought it back up again.

I like to go off on slight tangents.

May 14th is a great day, cos it's my little sister, Jess's birthday.. and because she's 10 years younger than me, the rules of birthday punches still apply, and who am I to protest against the rules. Even if she is 16 and i'm 26 that looks like i'm 19 and a half. No, you bleeding idiots. I don't hit my little sister. She's awesome, much like a mini-female-me. But a smarter version and much more well adjusted to society than I am. Definitely more well adjusted to Asian societies, she loves being Asian so much, she just dips into every asian culture possible. She was born here in Australia, but is of Malaysian-Indonesian-Chinese descent; she's obsessed with Korean rappers and Movies; the Japanese language, culture and cartoon series'; beef noodle soups from Flemington (Pho or Fer as she calls it); she drinks Easy-Way whenever she's spots an Easy Way store; she goes to Karaoke; loves hanging out in Chinatown and getting pictures of herself in that photo-sticker booth thing. If she tells me that she's started playing Dance Dance Revolution (or DDR for short), I think I might have to disown her.

May 14th is also a great day, because it marks the first day of the forming of "The Dungeon" or more colloquially known as "The Dunge". The Dunge is the name we have bestowed upon our house and the inhabitants of said house.

Roberto Francesco Squillacioti aka The Ciot aka Massive Wog aka Gobbledok
Benjamin Paul Lovegrove aka It's Just Ben aka Lovies aka The Groff aka The Love Craft aka.......
Koby "K-1000" Geddes aka The Never Closer aka Thanks Geddes
and of course, me: Daniel Teh aka Teh aka The

We actually didn't realise that this particular Friday was the anniversary of this glorious occasion until 5 days later.

Haha, someone named Wang just commented on a photo of me on Facebook. What a perfect segue into this next paragraph........

Nitro Circus was pretty cool, lots of explosions and motorbikes and flips and ramps, but it just lacked personality. The two hosts were these two dead shit blokes who looked like they were minding their own business being managers of a "Surf's Up - Apparel and Clothing for Surf Dudes" store in South Brisbane, when Nitro Circus offered them a chance of a lifetime. To dress up like American hill-billies in sleeveless flanno shirts and talk like dickheads into the microphone to a couple of thousand coasties and blokes from rouse hill clapping their dickheadedness on. And then also Koby, Jess, my friend Alexandra James and myself, we obviously don't fit into either of those categories. So we watched that for a while, my sister was trying to get drunk for the first time ever, but she couldn't even get there, a rhino dart probably wouldn't take her down. Plus I didn't really want my parents cracking the shits that I made her vomit in their CR-V. They already had to experience that with one of their kids, not telling you who that might be. It's more likely to be Melissa, right?

So we endured the boganness of the Nitro Circus crowd, and left with a couple of drinks under our belt, back to The Dunge. Unbeknownst to Koby and myself, Arch had come over to our house to watch the footy and smash thousands of beers with the two remaining Dwellers of The Dunge. We arrived home and they seemed rowdy but not too bad. A couple of oobs later, these guys were destroyed! The three of them got downright retarded, at one point I thought Lovegrove was crying.

Squillaciot's was pulling some of the best heads ever, but avoided detection of this trashed head by pointing the attention towards the direction of Arch's even better head. They were both massively hammered, meanwhile me and Koby watched on in jealousy.

My sister's eager head to get drunk, Lovegrove's cut at himself head, Arch's Spewing head, locking Rob in the Dungeon Room with the lights off all alone. Something something, best part of the night, bla bla, yep, ok. rightio. off the air.

That's the start of the blog. My sister's b'day/The first anniversary of The Dunge which somehow went unnoticed. Not to worry, Rob tells me they're having a little soirée next Saturday while I'm working at World. Sick.

I know what you're thinking, is this blog going to be a narrative of my life? Probably not. But i can't say for certain. I just wanted to stick something in to start off the whole shebang. And now.. without further ado.... Let the "GAMES" Begin!!
